Our company’s roots are in the South of France, where the VanDutch yachts were first conceived to change the Mediterranean boat market forever. Our design, however, is drawn from a Dutch yacht and boat building pedigree. The VanDutch boats’ unmistakably sporty and modern profiles were born in Holland from the work of renowned yacht designer Frank Mulder, who brought a modern and architectural appeal to the design of our first model, the VanDutch 40. Our growing range of boats includes the original VanDutch 40, now joined by the VanDutch 40 Walkaround, the VanDutch 30 and the VanDutch 55. We were proud to be awarded the World Yacht Trophies “Best Design up to 24 metres” in 2013 for the VanDutch 55. Since 2008, we have been helping clients find the perfect solution to their on-water needs, and over 200 VanDutch boats have been delivered across the world.
From the outset, our aim was to create innovative boats that are both fast and lightweight, as well as economically practical and able to provide enjoyment for years to come. VanDutch called upon the latest boatbuilding technologies to achieve this task.To maximise the hull strength while minimising the weight of the boat, we use a vaccum-injected composite sandwich construction on the hull and deck. This is reinforced with Kevlar across key points of the hull to further improve the hull’s robustness.We only choose materials of the best quality, to give each VanDutch boat truly luxurious feel. Our decks are covered with Esthec teak composite, available in a range of colour options. This means that although our decks may look like premium teak, they are durable, easy to care for, splinter-free and better for the environment.
The design pedigree of the VanDutch is second to none in its category. With its creative DNA rooted in world-famous dutch boat design and naval architecture, the original Frank Mulder-designed VanDutch models are both eye-catching and highly performing. A world-renowned, multi-award-winning designer, Mulder’s name is synonymous with seakeeping excellence. His work on the VanDutch design below the waterline assures a smooth cruising experience, while the now characteristic vertical bow maximises length at the waterline for more efficient performance. The deck and bridge feature retractable cleats, stainless steel swim ladder, large storage chests including for fenders, telescopic navigation light and rear engine compartment with hydraulic hatch. Comfort and luxury are also fundamental to the design language of any VanDutch boat. Our spacious lounge area, sunpads and swim platform on the deck provide ample spaces in which to relax and enjoy the surroundings. While the comfortable accommodation with ensuite bathroom on the lower deck allow you to enjoy overnight cruising in style
